Leslie and I spent some time walking around both islands, soaking in the atmosphere (and getting sunburned in the process!). Here’s some of the shots I captured (all on an iphone)
This was the end row of water villas (bottom left of the left island if looking from overhead)
At low tide the water’s very shallow
And the very end villa – great privacy come nighttime, but possibly noisy as it also was the closest villa to the seaplane landings.
Heading out towards the super fancy villas
These bad boys have the best privacy on the island (except for snoopy visitors like us!)
As it was low tide we could walk a fair way out
Got a bit carried away with the pano’s here
This next lot are from the main island
The pool was very popular with families during our stay
Out the front of the main pool area was the watersports area and Rangali Bar. Yep that’s Leslie having a go at SUP.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this one was taken heading back from Vilu to Rangali for happy hour.
Looking towards Mandhoo and the spa
And the view back from Mandhoo towards the house reef on the left
The quiet zone pool at sunset 2
The quiet zone pool at sunset
Sunsets were clearly a horrible time of day…
As were the sunrises
On the bridge looking towards the quiet zone
Of course there has to be a white sand, palm tree, beautiful blue ocean shot
Swings in the late afternoon brought back childhood memories, wait who am I kidding, this was awesome regardless of age!
Vilu from the water
And a final sunset from our favourite spot on the island – a table in the sand at Rangali Bar
