The view from the club lounge, on the top floor of the hotel was simply stunning.
Although the view from our room the night before wasn’t too shabby either!
The lounge room got a good workout with the bridal party and hair & make up ladies during the saturday afternoon
Along with the guest bathroom just off the corridor from the entrance
Looking south east from the club lounge back towards the city and over the Domain/ Kings Cross area
The pool however was a disappointment. Indoor, noisy, and just very ordinary.
On the sunday morning we first headed up to the club lounge – accessed via the top floor, and then this little entrance off to the side near the pool door
The usual hot offerings were supplemented with a yummy boerewors
Apologies for the lack of other photos – however the buffet was extremely busy, to the point where there was a line for a table, and i’m not comfortable enough to be at the point of taking photos of strangers in the background!
There was a made to cook eggs section (with broccoli?!)
And a very weak Asian offering – surprising for the Sydney market
A request for a later checkout was granted (midday instead of 10am) so we headed back up to the club lounge after a quick nap to soak up the rays and have a cocktail.
All too soon our stay had come to an end, and we headed out through the beautiful sandstone lobby
