Paris – day seven

Home / France / Paris – day seven
Our last day in Paris rolled around too quickly!

we ended up having a leisurely day, starting with more stairs…again! up to the top of the Arc de Triomphe which provided yet again some great views of Paris.

selfie skills definitely improved over the week!
stroll down the champs elysee from the Arc de Triomphe to Musée de l’Orangerie to see some more Monet.
and some shots from our river cruise
including past the Musee D’Orsay – the cafe where we had breakfast was in this clock face.
After the leisurely hour long cruise including a couple of drinks, we walked home up Rue Montorgueil, this time stopping off at a number of shops for our picnic later that night at the Eiffel Tower.

We picked up some yummy treats from Stohrer, a bakery established in 1730, including a baba au rhum and a slice of flan, some delicious cheeses from the la fermette fromagerie, a bottle of taittinger and a fresh out of the oven baguette.

Because our stomach’s know no bounds we managed to score another seating at Frenchie and had another great meal before grabbing an Uber to take us to the Eiffel Tower light show.

What a great way to finish off a magnificent week in Paris
